Where It All Started

Our Story

AGAPE Youth Behavioral Services Inc. was founded in 2021 by co-founders Celena Daniels and Anthony Click, two passionate leaders with a deep commitment to serving youth in need. Rooted in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia, AGAPE was created to meet a critical need in the community, supporting young people facing some of life’s most challenging circumstances.

From the very beginning, AGAPE was built with a clear purpose: to serve youth impacted by foster care, teen domestic violence, and the growing opioid crisis. These three focus areas became the foundation of our work, shaping the core programs we developed to promote healing, growth, and independence among vulnerable youth.

AGAPE is more than a service provider, we are a movement committed to changing the narrative for young people ages 14 to 21. Our mission is to walk alongside them, offering the tools, mentorship, and support needed to break cycles and build brighter futures.

Our three core program areas reflect that mission:

Rooted in Purpose. Built with Heart.

AGAPE Youth Behavioral Services Inc. began as a grassroots effort, fueled not by funding or recognition, but by purpose, lived experience, and a deep love for our community. Founded in 2021 by Celena Daniels and Anthony Click, AGAPE was created to respond to an urgent and growing need: to walk alongside youth facing life’s hardest challenges with compassion, support, and belief in what’s possible.

In Atlanta and surrounding areas, too many young people are navigating the effects of trauma, instability, and neglect. They are aging out of foster care without guidance, surviving domestic violence without support, and turning to substances like opioids in search of escape and relief. These are not just statistics, they are stories, they are futures, and they deserve our attention.

We started AGAPE because we could no longer look away. Built from the ground up, we are a community-led organization that exists to serve youth who are often overlooked and underserved. We don’t just offer programs, we offer presence. We show up, we listen, and we stay.

Our name, AGAPE, reflects our approach, unconditional love, rooted in action. This work is not about charity. It’s about justice. It’s about standing in the gap, creating space for healing, and helping young people see that they are worthy of more..

Our Impact

While AGAPE Youth Behavioral Services Inc. is newly established, our vision for impact is clear and unwavering. We are committed to transforming the lives of youth in Atlanta and surrounding communities by providing vital support to those in foster care, teen domestic violence survivors, and youth at risk of opioid addiction.

Our programs are designed to build trust, foster resilience, and equip young people with the skills and resources they need to overcome challenges and thrive. We believe that by investing in these young lives today, we can create stronger, healthier communities tomorrow.

With the right support and partnerships, AGAPE is poised to become a trusted resource and a powerful force for positive change in the lives of youth who need it most.
